CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT

Classroom management was a module where I learned so much, in this I could reflect about the different situations that a teacher should face. It is important to know that the teachers are always exposed diverse situations, and in some cases we do not know how to handle. I learned that teacher must has patience and face the problems calmly.

Being a teacher is really a difficult task, for this reason is important that the students know who the authority in the classroom is. In the first time the teacher could establish rules and roles. In this manner the students know until where they may as far as. The rules are very important as these help to maintain order and respect in the classroom. The teacher is the highest authority in the classroom; it is difficult to maintain the order above all for new teachers. The new teachers should be secure and no show weakness in front of their students.

Teacher must establish rules but he must encourage and congratulate to the students each time they participate or do work. These raise self-esteem in the students and them learning is easier. When the students are motivating their ability to learn is higher.

A good teacher should take into account that all students are different and for this reason should be treated the different manner. We should be conscious that the problems always affect our students and they can express these problems in their thinking, speaking and acting, as well as teachers, we should be support for our students. Somehow the school and the teachers became a family for the students.

Students` success largely depends of the teachers, although in this time, classroom management is very complicated because students don`t respect to the teachers. Students don`t accept authority, in the other hand the government is very permissible with they.

My experience during the practicum how teacher was interesting, I could tell that the conflicts are very common like the little interest of the students, but I recognize that the first class was very difficult for me, I did not know how to manage the order of the group, I called the coordinator for that he solve the problem, but now I understand that the discipline problems the teacher can solve easier establishing rules in the first time.

Really I think the most important point is increase the motivation and desire to learn in the students. It is important students feel that they are the most important part in the process of teaching and always have good words for recognizing their work because when the students like the class, they are always attentive. The same way this facilitates the work of all teachers.

Finally I can say that this module help me to realize that being teacher is a hard work. Furthermore being teacher is not only a transmitting knowledge, being teacher is can help to other people to be better physical and mentally. Being teacher is know when our students have problems, being teacher is help our students to achieve the goals, being teacher is know when our students need a friend, being teacher is motivate our students to be the best, being teacher is not point out weakness of our students, being teacher do not feel bad our students, a good teacher is in the good and bad moments.
